that even months before the primary, when sharron angle, the one on the left there, had zero name recognition, with more than 40% of the voters, sharron angle was still polling better than harry reid. sharron angle, of course, went on to win the primary, thank you for chickens for checkups, and by the time the primary happened in june, sharron angle had a double-digit lead over mr. reid. but then all changed. as much as sharron angle tried to keep the focus on harry reid and away from herself, nevada started to get to know sharron angle. sharron angle who has said that liquor should be made illegal, that she would like to get rid of social security and medicare and the department of education, and she would also like us to withdraw from the u.n. why? who knows. she says a woman who is raped should be forced by the government to give birth to the rapist's child, because she calls that god's plan. as nevadas started to get to know sharron angle and her ideas, this is what happened. you see that red line? that line charts sharron angle's poll numbers. the blue numbers charts harry re
and sharron angle, these are a gut punch to the movers and shakers who decide our choices and making sure we were served from a menu of carefully pedigreed politicians who had the right connections and went to the right ivy league schools and had the right look and came with and from the right kind of big money. the beauty of the political uprising of this country, whether you call it the tea party or something else, is that it's exactly what the founders had in mind. that the people are still the bosses and can change their government when it ceases to serve and starts to enslave. have you been on the reefing end of the much of the contemptuous who does he think he is attitude when he ran for office and i'm thankful we are not going to see the mott going to take it attitude. it might be messy at times, but i'll admit i'm more catfish than caviar, more sam's club than country club, more church pew than box seats at the opera, bass boat than yacht and more comfortable at sears than saks fifth avenue, but the people who work hard and want a piece of the american dream for their own families ar

sharron angle. that's a significant lead considering the outfit who did the poll. a republican pollster. harry reid in a significant lead now. now to california where new "l.a. times" usc poll has senator boxer building a comfortable lead over carly fiorina. look at that number. 51-43. boxer leads by eight points. she's up over 50% which is very significant for an incumbent. in the pennsylvania senate race, pat toomey, again, seven-point lead over joe sestak in striking distance. florida, marco rubio is pulling away. he's up by double digits now. both crist and kendrick meek. we'll continue to check the "hardball" scorecard through the races coming up to election day on november 2nd. the democrats' strategy. let's talk about this final strategy. the "washington post" eugene robin. msnbc political analyst. and charles with the politico, the hot charging news organ these days. here are clips from ads that house democrats are running. ohio's betty sutton, arizona's harry mitchell and florida's alan grayson. he's a wild character at times. let's listen to all three of them. >> you've heard

senate candidate sharron angle however has been running a campaign ad demonizing illegal immigrants, demonizing them in such offensive fashion that her own occasional spokesperson, the chairwoman of the nevada republican hispanic caucus, went public on monday condemning the ad, quote, i condemn this type of propaganda, no matter who is running them, where they blame mexicans as the only problem and where they attack them as the only source of illegal immigration. angle's campaign not responding to "the las vegas sun's" request for comment. republicans have also historically stood for english only enshrined in law and practice to facilitate immigrant assimilation. the florida republican tea party gubernatorial candidate marco rubio even campaigned on that point, senate campaign point excuse me but now he is reaching out to florida's spanish speaking voters by doing this.
